Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms") carefully before using the PenIQ keyboard application ("App") operated by PenIQ ("we," "our," or "us"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using PenIQ, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age and agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the App.
2. Description of Service
PenIQ is an AI-powered keyboard application for iOS that provides the following text transformation features:
- Rephrase: Rewrite text using different tones (professional, casual, formal, friendly, concise, persuasive)
- Grammar Fix: Correct grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors
- Translate: Translate text into other languages
3. User Responsibilities
When using PenIQ, you agree to:
- Use the App only for lawful purposes
- Not submit text that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable
- Not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Not attempt to circumvent rate limits or security measures
- Not use the App to generate spam, phishing content, or misleading communications
4. AI-Generated Content
PenIQ uses artificial intelligence to transform text. You acknowledge and agree that:
- AI-generated results may not always be perfectly accurate, appropriate, or error-free
- Translations are provided for general communication purposes and should not be relied upon for legal, medical, or other critical documents
- You are solely responsible for reviewing and using any AI-generated content
- We do not guarantee that the output will meet your specific requirements
5. Intellectual Property
The App, including its design, code, features, and branding, is the property of PenIQ and is protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of the text you input and the transformed output. We claim no ownership over your content.
6. Service Availability
We strive to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The App may be temporarily unavailable due to:
- Scheduled or emergency maintenance
- Server or network issues
- Third-party service disruptions
- Force majeure events
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PenIQ and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising out of or related to your use of the App.
The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless PenIQ and its operators from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising out of or in connection with your use of the App or violation of these Terms.
9. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, without prior notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or are using the App in a manner that could harm our service or other users.
10. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised "Effective Date." Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
